This roundtable focuses on the interview process for Design jobs in the industry. Interviewing for design is often difficult and time consuming for both parties. For the interviewee, design tests are a lengthy ordeal and on site interviews can be intimidating, particularly for younger designers looking to land that first job. From the interviewer point of view, candidate needs can vary greatly from position to position and design tests, if not structured properly, can struggle to reveal the most qualified candidates for the position. Join your fellow designers to discuss the challenges of both interviewing for design and hiring the best candidates for a given team and project.

By comparing notes, discussing problems, and honestly diving in to what design tests are trying to achieve, attendees will be more prepared to approach either side of the interview table.
