Carina Kom (she/her) left her corporate job to co-found a crypto gaming studio and produce its first IP called MixMob. Carina will relay the myriad challenges and rewards of being a crypto game in a quickly changing industry, and the tactics and tools that can be used to improve team innovation.

Takeaway

Attendees will gain insights from a game studio throwing a fast-ball, and learn from a game production team who managed to survive through an economic recession and crypto crash. They will learn about the specific challenges that developers who are start-ups face as we discuss a number of AA techniques for new teams to help grow from validation into efficiency-mode.

Intended Audience

The is for indie and AA game studio leaders and their delegates who are interested in production, leadership, and how to operate a games company in an early-adopters stage. This is for anyone who is creating new IP, building a new team, or are pioneers of new technology. Attendees are knowledge seekers who are keen to learn about validating fast, acknowledging the differences and similarities between "traditional" and "crypto" gaming -- all while learning of the stories of Web3 games along the way.
