Sui

Anyone who's ever tried a play-to-earn game may shudder at the idea of blockchain-based gaming. ICYMI; the blockchain-based games you've heard of aren't fun. Sui, the brain child of award-winning technologists from Meta, Apple, Shopify and more, is seeking to change that. Since Sui's mainnet launch in May 2023, the fledgling network has signed over sixty gaming partners, ranging from indie to AAA gaming studios, and have partnered with Hollywood legacy IPs such as The Walking Dead, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Squid Game to create immersive experiences for the next generation of gamers, on the world's fastest and most scalable blockchain. In this session, join one of Sui's co-creators, Adeniyi Abiodun, as he corrects what blockchain gaming has gotten wrong thus far, and explores how far it can go when player and gaming experience are prioritized.

Takeaway

Conference-goers will enjoy a no-nonsense approach to how blockchain gaming has gone wrong in the past. They'll learn about real-world success stories and why web3 works, when presented to players seamlessly and additively, featuring an introduction to dynamic NFTs and a scalable tech stack that is capable of serving hundreds of thousands of users at once.

Intended Audience

This presentation is open to web2 and web3 game developers interested in digital asset ownership and its potential to change gaming. The session will feature gaming partners across the world, including a major game developer from Korea, as well as across the spectrum of the industry.
