Non-functional tests and metrics can be the foundation for cross-team collaboration and help teams focus on the areas of greatest potential improvement. This talk will explore frameworks for adopting non-functional testing as a practice, approaches to meaningfully interpret the metrics, and demonstrate how non-functional testing can improve the overall efficiency of game development. This will also show some of the features of how to jump start using the HeadSpin platform.


Adopting non-functional test practices can complement your existing functional tests. Because of the foundation in data, creating a regression safety net using non-functional tests can be deployed as part of each project team, to create a repeatable process of continually improving performance, user experience, and gameplay.
