Battlefield is a franchise that needs no introduction. Hear that name and instantly think of fast-paced mayhem, and teamwork with a splash of environmental destruction. Battlefield 2042 was the latest iteration, and it aimed to take the franchise into a new era—but ultimately it failed to resonate with fans and new players alike.

It's okay to make mistakes in game development—the point is to learn, regroup, and improve.

Ripple Effect Studios' Aerin Artessa and Courtney Libby will describe this journey of how two cross-continental UI/UX teams came together to improve engagement and retention by reimagining and rebuilding the Frontend Menu in a short time period.

Takeaway

Attendees will expand their knowledge of UX/UI processes and learn about cross-continental communication challenges and successful collaborations. Developers will also learn how, sometimes, you have to accept failure to achieve something greater.

Intended Audience

This is for UX/UI Professionals and developers interested in expanding knowledge about UX/UI processes and collaborations. Technical Designers will learn best practices in building flexible systems in their own projects.
