With this talk, Ashley will take a deep dive into the journey that the Gearbox Software VFX department took in creating the look for the visual effects in the 7 years between Borderlands 2 and Borderlands 3. Among changing game engines, learning, updating, and teaching new software, adding new team members, and starting a new franchise, he will give a greater insight into the steps taken to create the effects for the hit franchise.
