The increase in LGBTQIA+ characters and stories in gaming over the past few years is worth celebrating. But when it comes to telling those stories authentically, or casting more queer actors for voice and performance capture work, the success rate has been spotty. Join leaders from Queer Vox, the nonprofit academy and community for LGBTQIA+ voice actors, as they discuss why authentically told stories matter, how casting queer actors is about more than authenticity, and what a difference an awareness of queer terminology and issues from the top down can make to a project. This includes a "safe space" Q&A where attendees can ask the difficult questions they've been afraid to and is presented by Gay Gaming Professionals
