Panelists will share honest opinions on what’s working and what’s not and why now, not tomorrow, is the time to finally fix what’s broken in our industry.

This panel will cover:

  • Personal accounts from industry professionals as they discuss their journeys through their careers and advancement towards their goals
  • What is working and what really isn’t to put underrepresented groups in gaming on a more level playing field

Takeaway

Attendees will walk away with knowledge of four different paths women have taken to break into the games industry and how we can work to shift the culture around gaming to embrace women and improve professional outlooks and outcomes.

Intended Audience

This panel is for anyone that wants to break into the games industry but doesn't know where to start. Educators, and others interested in learning about what solutions are needed to create a space for diversity, equity and inclusion to thrive in the games industry would also benefit.
