Jerome Angelot, Music Supervisor, Ubisoft
Jerome is part of Ubisoft since 2005, beginning his career as an Audio Development Tester on Peter Jackson’s King Kong at Ubisoft Montpellier in France. His passion for excellence and commitment to delivering high-quality audio within time and budget constraints quickly propelled him through the ranks. Starting as an Audio Integrator on Rayman Raving Rabbids, Jerome transitioned into a role as Audio Designer at Ubisoft Québec. His notable debut in the AAA game industry came with Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands on the PSP, a project that earned a nomination for Best Audio on a Handheld Console at the G.A.N.G. Awards in 2011. Jerome’s involvement with the Assassin’s Creed series began with Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood as a Music Designer. His expertise in interactive music systems was further recognized when he joined the Assassin’s Creed III Montreal Audio Team, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the music direction and designing the game’s interactive audio systems. Following his success with Assassin’s Creed III, Jerome collaborated with Tony Gronick, Audio Director on the Far Cry series, for Far Cry 4. Their partnership was celebrated with a BAFTA award for Best Music in 2015, showcasing their innovative approach to game music. In early 2017, Jerome took on the role of Music Supervisor at Ubisoft Québec, where he spearheaded the music direction for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Immortals Fenyx Rising, and the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Shadows. His work continues to push the boundaries of interactive and immersive music experiences in video games.
