Nick BerryPresidentDataGenetics

Nick Berry recently retired from Facebook, where he spent the last five years as a Data Scientist, and now runs his own consultancy, DataGenetics. He is a native of the UK, where he graduated with a Masters in rocket science and aircraft engineer. Before Facebook, he spent 14 years at Microsoft (eleven of which were in the Microsoft games team), and prior to that ran a successful start-up which he sold to Microsoft. He’s given a TEDx talk [1], was nominated as Geekwire’s “Geek-of-the-week” [2], received the Queen’s Award for Technology, and was voted as “Entrepreneur of the Decade” by the UK Sunday Times. In 2019 he was voted onto the “50 over 50” list of the most influential individuals in the gaming industry [4]. He is the author of the DataGenetics [3] blog, one of the top data science blogs on the internet, and is famous for speaking a million words a minute (and exaggerating).
