Keith is the designer of several digital games, such as the award-winning tactics game Gem Wizards Tactics, as well as other critically-acclaimed Roguelike games 100 Rogues and Auro: A Monster-Bumping Adventure. He also successfully Kickstarted the card game Dragon Bridge, his first published tabletop game. You can find his complete list of games here. Keith runs a podcast that features in-depth discussions on game design topics called The Clockwork Game Design Podcast. It features interviews with academics, writers and industry professionals on topics related to game design. Keith is the author of two books on game design: Clockwork Game Design, which outlines a pattern for elegant strategy game design, and Game Design Theory: A New Philosophy for Understanding Games, which describes philosophy on interactive systems generally. He also created a YouTube videos on game design, most notably, my series 3 Minute Game Design. Keith has taught game design at the Katonah Arts Center, the NY Film Academy and SUNY Purchase College. He has also done talks at NYU’s Practice: Game Design in Detail 2013 conference, as well as at the NY Film Academy and at the Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA.
