Richard Carrillo has over 15 years of experience in game design, recently joining Sledgehammer Games in 2021 as a Creative Director. He has developed his skills at studios all over North America including EA Tiburon, EA Chicago, EA Redwood Shores, KAOS Studios, and Ubisoft Toronto. Working at so many different locations with different principles has taught him unique insights into the game development process and studio structures. With this knowledge and experience, Richard has dedicated himself not only to making great games, but also to better the hiring practices, design culture, and growth of game designers.
