Richard Carrillo has over 15 years’ experience in game design, joining the Ubisoft Toronto team in 2011 as a Lead Game Designer on Splinter Cell Blacklist. He has developed his skills at studios all over North America including EA Tiburon, EA Chicago, EA Redwood Shores, and KAOS Studios. Working at so many different locations with different principles has taught him unique insights into the game development process and studio structures. With this knowledge and experience Richard has dedicated himself not only to making great games, but also to bettering the hiring practices, design culture, and growth of game designers.
