With this Session Scheduler, you can build your schedule in advance and access it during the show via export or with the GDC Mobile App, once live. Sessions do fill up so please arrive early to sessions that you would like to attend. Adding a session to your schedule does not guarantee you a seat.
Mike has worked in the games industry for almost 30 years, starting off his career at DMA Design where his work inspired both Lemmings and Grand Theft Auto, before moving to Visual Sciences and working with EA Sports on cutting edge AAA F1 games on PSX and XBox. After a stint in the early mobile games sector, he then moved to Realtime Worlds where his R&D work secured over $80 million dollars in VC funding for the GIS based game engine “My World”. Moving from there to YoYo Games, he helped move Game Maker from a simple Windows only educational tool, into a world class game engine across multiple platforms, which is used and beloved by indie developers and educators the world over. He is now perusing his own Indie dream of making games at Ogre Games.
