Neil Davidson has long been passionate about leveraging mobile technology to deliver payment and other financial services to those excluded from formal financial institutions. In 2008, Neil joined the Mobile Money for the Unbanked Initiative, where he advised companies in developing economies on designing and scaling mobile payment services.
In 2011, Neil and his colleague Paul Leishman created a new payment system of their own: Coda Payments, which operates Codashop, a leading marketplace for in-game currencies and other digital content. As Executive Chairman, he focuses on deepening relationships with Coda’s current and prospective investors, identifying inorganic growth opportunities, and guiding the company’s strategy.
