Yu Ding is currently a senior animation researcher at Netease Inc. China. His research interests include computer vision animation, speech-driven animation, nonverbal behavior generation, affective computing, interactive virtual character, and embodied conversational agents. At Netease Inc., he has helped develop and guide several important Machine/Deep learning projects on animation generation. He has more than 20 publications and has served as a reviewer for more than 20 international Conferences or journals. He is a program committee member for ACM International Conference on Intelligent Virtual Agents. He has co-organized a tutorial at the International Conference on Affective Computing and Intelligent Interaction (2017) about Modeling Expressive and Communicative Agents. He has participated in the organization of the International Conference on Computer Science and Education (co-organizing chair in 2017, co-area chair in 2018, co-industrial chair in 2019).
