Patrick Ferland, Lead Software Engineer, Gameplay, Blizzard Entertainment
Patrick Ferland has been developing videogames since 2008, where he began working on the Metaplace user-generated virtual world platform that ultimately powered several successful social games and was eventually acquired by The Walt Disney Company. At Disney, Patrick worked on games including Disney Infinity 3.0, Club Penguin Mobile, and the Playmation series of smart toys, in addition to a number of emerging technology projects. He then spent 4 years at Playable World, helping to lead their engineering team in building an innovative open-world sandbox MMORPG, before joining Blizzard as a Lead Software Engineer in Gameplay for Diablo IV.
