Tim Fields is a renowned gaming industry executive, entrepreneur, and thought leader with over 25 years of experience building companies, creating games, and driving innovation in interactive entertainment. Throughout his career, including serving as CEO of Kabam, he led the development and launch of blockbuster titles, including Marvel: Contest of Champions, Disney Mirrorverse, Fast & Furious, Transformers: Forged to Fight, and Shop Titans—games that have collectively reached over 500 million players and generated more than $3 billion in revenue. Throughout his career, Tim has collaborated with leading publishers such as Microsoft, Electronic Arts, Activision, Capcom, Hasbro, Wizards of the Coast, and Certain Affinity, shaping some of the industry's most successful gaming experiences. A recognized pioneer in AI and automation in game development, he has been designing, implementing, lecturing, and writing on AI applications since 2002, particularly in the use of self-testing development code and AI-driven development processes. Beyond his leadership roles, Tim is a respected author and industry visionary. His book, Game Development 2042, explores the future of gaming, technology, and interactive entertainment. He currently serves as a board member for GlobalStep – a games outsourcing leaders – and his insights have been featured in numerous industry publications, and he is a frequent speaker at global gaming conferences. At GDC 2025, Tim will moderate a high-level panel discussion, The Future of Gaming: The Next 1,000 Days, bringing together top executives, investors, and thought leaders to explore the forces shaping the industry’s future.
