Sonia is working in gamedev for 8 years professionally starting as a 2D artist and illustrator, then switching to 2D character animation, and finally coming to the world of visual effects! Throughout her carrier got involved not only in crafting animations and effects but also in leveling up the level of quality and optimization on the animated side of the projects and teaching teams to get better in those regards.
In ElevnthHourGames she is responsible for developing the visual style of VFX for the project, making those VFX as cool as possible, and also for making sure the character animations and locomotion are on point. She also mentors at VFX Apprentice, teaching students the art of drawing and animating in 2D!
