Jonathan Hamel currently Studio Design Director at Another Axiom, makers of the upcoming Orion Drift and of Gorilla Tag, which was recently revealed to have 10 million players in VR, generating more than $100 million since launch. Jonathan has been designing and programming games professionally for a really long time, like since before he had any gray hair. He is super fortunate to be part of other amazing VR game teams, most recently on Echo VR, Lone Echo II, Lone Echo (Consecutive games winning D.I.C.E. Immersive Reality Game of the Year 2017 and 2019). Before VR, I worked in console on What Remains of Edith Finch (BAFTA Best Game 2017), Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Tomb Raider (also nominated for multiple Best Game and Best Design awards). Before console, he worked on several PC games including LOTR:BFME2:ROTWK, which once held the record for longest game title. He produced online games at Sesame Street and co-wrote 3 novels for kids, including The Postman Always Brings Mice.
