Edgar HandyMachine Learning EngineerSQUARE ENIX CO., LTD

Edgar Handy is working as Machine Learning Engineer at SQUARE ENIX CO., LTD., AI Division. He is particularly involved in Machine Learning researches related to game content generation and support for better work-efficiency. Research he has been involved in Reinforcement Learning, Style Transfer, animations, and other Generative Modeling for game development. Before joining SQUARE ENIX CO., LTD., he was involved in applied Machine Learning research on game experience and cognitive developmental psychology, while indulging himself in designing VLSI with FPGA. In the general field of AI, he is personally interested in incorporating cognitive science and machine learning, and its benefits for industry application. He enjoys learning new technical things, travelling, playing video games, and reading manga in his free time.
