Sabine Harrer (PhD, they/them) is a games researcher based in Sweden and Austria. Their research focuses on critical game studies around themes like queerness, sexuality, social justice, and grief. Author of the book Games and Bereavement (transcript 2018), Sabine is also a passionate game jammer and has made a number of micro games using materials like touch screens, computer mice, fabric, rocks and small free online editors like Twine and Adam LeDoux's Bitsy.
