Dr. Alison Harvey is an Associate Professor of Communication at Glendon College, York University and has dedicated her career to exploring and co-designing supports for greater inclusion, diversity, and equity in game development. Her research focuses on educational and community-led initiatives that concretely tackle exclusion and foster environments in support of the participation of marginalized peoples. She has spoken at a range of academic and industry events on these subjects to share strategies with diverse audiences.
