If you've registered for GDC, you can use the same login credentials for your Session Scheduler account. Adding a session to your schedule does not guarantee you a seat. Sessions do fill up, so please arrive early to sessions that you would like to attend.

Irina was born in a small mountain city in Kasachstan and spent a part of her childhood in Russia. Surrounded by her cousins every day, she loved watching them playing video games and spent her days watching hero movies with them. Spending time outside in the mountains and in the virtual worlds, she learned to enjoy the beauty of the former and the fun of the latter.
When the time came to choose a career, she showed a lot of interest in developing video games but was reluctant to take that step. 5 years into her career life where she had the opportunity to try out many amazing things, Irina felt that it was about time to turn her career in the direction she always wanted it to be in. She finished her studies at the University of Applied Sciences in Mittweida in the subject of computer science and interactive entertainment, while her professors always cared about adding many facets of game development in the subject. During her time there, she was part of many game development projects and contributed with presentations about various topics. She was the lead game designer of the graduation project "Elemates" where she told a story about a growing friendship that in the end transcends the worlds. Irina also found her passion for video game conferences and likes to volunteer and take part in them. She volunteered for Devcom 2017, 18 and 19 and had the honors to manage a panel about diversity at Quo Vadis in Berlin in 2018. In August 2019 she was part of the volunteer management team.
As an artist, it has been always important for her to create and show people around her something beautiful. Be it an emotion, a picture or an experience. Therefore, she decided to deepen her game development studies and go further in the 3D art department. She began her studies at Pixl Visn Media Arts Academy in October 2018 and finished it recently. Right now she is open to all kinds of new challenges, which hopefully will be able to bring out her full potential as an artist.
