Jason Hinders served as a Lead Software Engineer at Gorilla Systems Corporation from 1999 to 2006, creating video game titles for clients such as: Disney, Mattel, and THQ. He is credited on ten published games for platforms such as Nintendo DS, Nintendo GBA, and Windows. Prior to this role, Jason worked for Honeywell Space Systems Division as a Software Engineer developing satellite test software. Jason joined Full Sail University in 2006 as a Course Director. He was promoted to Department Chair in 2017, and Program Director ( Dean ) in 2019 overseeing three degree programs: Game Development and Computer Sceince Bachelor of Science, as well as the Mobile Gaming Master of Science. Jason has instructed courses in core Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Capstone Project. To support his personal mission, Jason is involved in educational outreach to support and promote Computer Science in K-12 education.. Jason earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of South Florida, in Tampa, Florida in 1997 with a focus on computer graphics and digital imaging.
