Jullian Hoff, Music designer, Ubisoft
Jullian Hoff is an awarded composer recognized by the Canadian Electroacoustic Society, Beijing Musicacoustica, and Luigi Russolo prize. His work has been performed internationally at venues such as the Seoul International Computer Music Festival, New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival, Burning Man, San Francisco Tape Music Festival and the Melbourne International Animation Festival. He holds a master's degree in music composition from the University of Montreal, where he focused on generative and algorithmic systems, as well as human-machine interactions in digital comprovisations. His work has been supported by grants from the Art Council of Canada, the Council for Arts and Letters of Quebec, and the Society and Culture Research Fund of Quebec. He has been teaching interactive audio, digital music composition, aesthetics in sound production, and sound design for over 10 years in both public and private schools. In 2017, he began working in the game industry on indie, mobile, and arcade games. In 2021, he joined Ubisoft as a music designer on Assassin's Creed Shadows.
