Born in the Netherlands, Ramon had dreams of being a visual artist or animator. However, once he figured out creating games was a viable occupation, he became fully focused on finding his place in the games industry. He graduated from the NHTV university in Breda, the Netherlands, having worked on Sackboy: A Big Adventure at Sumo-Digital in his last year. Torn between staying at the company to continue with the project and his desire to create his own indie projects, he found a way to combine both by working for Sumo as a remote contractor, and founding his own studio "Roofkat" to solo- develop his game "WarpThrough" in the meantime. As his project at Sumo-Digital was coming to an end, Ramon was asked to join No Brakes Games in Tenerife, where he is now working as a level designer. He's experienced both working in AAA and solo-development in his 4 years in the industry so far. He's always excited about well-designed mechanics and interesting gameplay.
