Kohei Ikeda, Game Director & Development Producer, Bandai Namco Studios
After graduating from a film school specializing in visual arts, he joined Enterbrain (now KADOKAWA), inspired by TEKKEN.As a video director for the monthly magazine "Famitsu Wave DVD". I planned various game-related video content and produced a variety of game variety shows, including interviews with game creators. I also served as the director for game strategy DVDs, including those for TEKKEN 5, Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike, and The King of Fighters 2002, as well as DVDs for fighting game tournaments like TOUGEKI. In 2007, he transitioned to Bandai Namco. At Bandai Namco, he worked as the battle VFX director for "SOULCALIBUR IV" and focused on battle design for "TEKKEN TAG TOURNAMENT 2," contributing to the overall game design.I was entrusted with the role of game director for the first time in "TEKKEN 7" and is currently serving as both game director and development producer for the latest title, "TEKKEN 8."In addition to overseeing the structure and direction of trailers and promotional videos, i personally edits videos and contributes to promotion and marketing efforts.
