Tim Johansson, Principal Engineer, GOALS
Tim is an experienced engineer with a strong interest in core game engine technology, performance, multiplayer and graphics. Before joining GOALS to build a custom esports ready netcode solution, he was one of the original technology leads on Unity’s DOTS technology, where he developed many of the foundational parts before spearheading the multiplayer solution for it. He also has a background in AAA multiplayer games from making Battlefield games at DICE, as well as a background in web browsers from leading the graphics team at Opera.
