Andrew Johnson, Senior Historian, Firaxis
Dr. Andrew Alan Johnson is a cultural anthropologist specializing on Southeast Asia, and is the author of Ghosts of the New City (Hawaii 2014) and Mekong Dreaming (Duke 2020). In addition, he is the author of over 20 peer-reviewed articles, and his work has been published in Harper's and The Atlantic. He received his PhD from Cornell University in 2010 and has taught at Columbia, Princeton, Yale-NUS College, and is an Associate Professor at Stockholm University. He has also served as the Senior Historian at Firaxis Games, working on Sid Meier's Civilization VII.
