Max Kreminski is a researcher in artificial intelligence, human-computer interaction, creativity, and play. Currently, they are the director of the storytelling tools research group at Midjourney and an assistant professor of computer science at Santa Clara University. They have published over 50 papers at AI, HCI, and games venues, including at highly selective conferences such as NeurIPS, CHI, and AIIDE. Max holds a PhD in Computational Media from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
