Jae Lin is the Hotline Director of the Games and Online Harassment Hotline and Programs Manager of Feminist Frequency, where they are cultivating supportive resources around mental health, harassment and abuse, and online safety. It has been a prideful joy to incorporate abolitionist values with trauma-informed care, a human-centered understanding of online harassment, and a cultural context of games spaces in shaping the work and growth of the hotline. They are passionate about breaking cycles of sexual violence, and through ReSpec, they work on accountability with people who have caused harm and want to change. They have a background in queer community health and suicide prevention, with roots in collegiate esports. In Austin, TX, Jae is also a community organizer around queer arts and transformative justice. With buoyant artwork and hand lettering, their work as Doodle Me Alive focuses on trans liberation, loving affirmations, and the possibilities of healing. Jae is the executive director of Gender Unbound, which uplifts trans and intersex artists in central Texas, and they also host biweekly Queer Art Nights in Austin. They love a good turn of phrase, a wide-open sky, and getting lost in a game.
