Nan MaSenior Game Engine DeveloperLIGHTSPEED STUDIOS

Nan Ma is a Senior Game Engine Developer at LIGHTSPEED STUDIOS. Focusing on improving in-game animation quality and motion fidelity, Nan leverages machine learning and physics simulation to take the character interactive animation to a brand-new level.

As the tech lead of a Best in Play award winning game at GDC 2018, Nan Ma has 16 years of experience in game physics R&D, game engine development, and AAA game content production. He specializes in the commercialization of cutting-edge technologies from concept states to final productions.

Nan spent his early career years as a physics programmer at Rockstar Games, where he contributed to a few of its critically acclaimed titles, including Max Payne 3, Grand Theft Auto V, Red Dead Redemption 2.
