Ben McCullough is an audio director based in Vancouver, Canada, He currently works at Blackbird Interactive, leading the audio team on sci-fi salvaging sim Hardspace: Shipbreaker. Since joining the industry in the late 90s, Ben has worked on numerous titles, from 2D adventures to open world action titles, driving sims to kart racers, shooters to brawlers, gaining deep experience of the intricacies of each genre. He is driven by the challenge of exploiting audio's role in gameplay feedback loops, continually striving to craft soundscapes that enhance and deepen the overall experience. His work has contributed to several award nominations and wins, including Canadian Videogame Awards, G.A.N.G. Awards and the UK's Develop Awards.
