Tfer Newsome is a sound editor who has created award-winning soundtracks for films and documentaries for over 20 years. She makes professional sound practitioners out of film students in her role as Lecture in Film Screen and Animation at the Queensland University of Technology, while working freelance on positive transformative film and game projects. She maintains her strong connections to the industry as the Queensland Representative for the Australian Screen Sound Guild, and builds new connections with all other screen guilds in Brisbane. She believes that films, documentaries, and games can make big changes to the world.
