Kai Qin, Product Expert, AI Platform Department, Tencent
Kai Qin is currently a product expert at Tencent’s AI Platform Department, focusing on AI- Generated Content (AIGC) tools, engine design, and serving as a User Generated Content (UGC) game editor. He is the product leader of the XR Content Ecology Department at Tencent, where he leads the VR Live Streaming, Avatar, and Content Community Product team. Before joining Tencent, he was the head of the Content Ecology Department at Mini World, a sandbox UGC game company, where he helped achieve the game creator's growth on a large scale. Prior to that, he worked as senior product manager at OPPO, where he led his team to launch an AI video editor overseas and domestically. Kai Qin was once a serial entrepreneur, passionate about and dedicated in the XR field. From 2014 to 2017, he founded a VR headset hardware company valued at over 1 billion RMB and developed China's first online VR social game. He holds a master’s degree in computer application technology from Peking University.
