With this Session Scheduler, you can build your schedule in advance and access it during the show via export or with the GDC Mobile App, once live. Sessions do fill up so please arrive early to sessions that you would like to attend. Adding a session to your schedule does not guarantee you a seat.
John Salwitz began his video game career at Atari Games where he first found success as the lead game programmer of Paperboy. His arcade titles include Paperboy, 720⁰, Cyberball, Cyberball 2072 and Rampart, all for Atari Games. After Atari John worked at Electronic Arts where he developed Haunting-Starring Polterguy for the Sega Genesis. John left EA to become one of the principal founders and president of Blue Shift, Inc., an independent game developer, where he oversaw the development of Vapor TRX for the arcade, Running Wild, World Series Baseball 2K2 and 2K3 and Toxic Grind.
He returned to Electronic Arts where he has held senior leadership positions on projects such as Command and Conquer Generals, Medal of Honor Pacific Assault, Sims Carnival, and Sims 4. He is currently a Principal Technical Director within EA’s Central Mobile Technologies group.
