Klaus Scherwinski is an expert in the field of story-driven illustrations. The German artist started his professional career in 2003 drawing for pen and paper roleplaying games like Shadowrun, Battletech and Degenesis before working as comic artist for G.I.JOE, The Transformers and Heavy Metal Magazine. Later Klaus got hired by Germany’s biggest independent computer game studio Crytek creating concept art and storyboards for games like Crysis2, Ryse: Son of Rome and Warface. After a few years as freelancer and then employee at Crytek Klaus started teaching visual storytelling at campuses of SAE Institute all over Europe while providing storyboards for trailers like Neverwinter Nights: Ravenloft, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, Civilisation 6 and more. Klaus has recently been working as freelance storyboard artist for AAA-games like IO-Interactive’s HITMAN 1 and 2 and Guerrilla Games’s Horizon: Forbidden West - it was the latter project which inspired him to relocate to Amsterdam (The Netherlands) in 2020. Klaus is almost never bored.
