Aubrey Scott is a trans lesbian of color working as an independent developer and founder of Flying Cat Studios. She consults and does contract programming for TRU LUV, Sundew Studios, and more. Her grant-funded prototype, Goddess Grotto, explores the intersection of sexuality and art therapy to engage with Emily Nagoski's prompt, "Imagine your sexual identity as a garden," by arranging digital plants on a variety of vulva garden beds. Aubrey created a gender as a spectrum character creator for NASCAR Heat 3 & 4 while working as a gameplay engineer at Monster Games. She spoke about the creation of this feature at Game Developers of Color Expo in 2019. She was also featured on the PBS show Sci Girls in 2020.
