With over 25 years of combined story and game development experience at world-class entertainment companies such as Marvel, Lucasfilm and Telltale, Evan Skolnick brings a unique perspective to narrative experiences in games. An active game writer, college professor and international speaker, he has imparted core storytelling techniques and knowledge to well over a thousand working game development professionals. He is the author of Video Game Storytelling: What Every Developer Needs to Know About Narrative Techniques, which has been placed on the required reading list for game design courses at colleges such as UC Irvine, RPI, UConn, Cogswell College, the University of Utah, and others.
Recent game projects to which Skolnick has served in a primary narrative capacity include 'Concrete Genie', 'Cuphead', and 'Star Wars: Battlefront'. Prior to that he's worked on titles such as ’The Walking Dead: A New Frontier’, 'Dying Light', 'Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2', 'The Godfather: Five Families’ and many others.
