Paul StephanoukHead of Creative, Candy Crush King

Paul Stephanouk is the VP Head of Creative, Candy Crush at King, a role he took on in 2021. Paul joined King back in 2020, starting his journey at King as Senior Director of Games Design Craft. 

With 23 years’ experience in the gaming industry, his contribution to King is profound. Whilst Paul has worked on all aspects of making games, mechanics and system design is his speciality. Having started his career in the video game industry back in 2000 as a designer for Big Huge Games, Paul has since worked across other companies leading creative teams. Most recently, Paul worked as Senior Creative Director for Electronic Arts (EA). 

Paul is currently responsible for guiding various creative crafts such as Art, Design, UX, Narrative and overall creative vision for Candy Crush Saga. 

Outside of work, Paul enjoys travelling to new parts of the world, dogs, heavy metal music and playing retro games!
