Chris Tang is the Senior Game Designer at Hitsparks Games on the tentatively titled 'Flight Armor Project: STRIKE HARBINGER', a spiritual successor to the high-speed rail shooters of the arcade era. Chris began a rich history in game development at Atari Games/Tengen in the 90's on titles such as 'Rampart', 'Gauntlet IV', 'Primal Rage', and the infamously cancelled 'Primal Rage II', only recently made playable thanks to various restoration efforts. He went on to Capcom Japan working on games like 'Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike', 'Marvel Vs. Capcom' and 'Street Fighter Alpha 3' before working on the 'Transformers' and 'Tetris' franchises for Genazea/BAM and BPS respectively. Chris is also an eSports and gaming tournament champion with titles that include: "Rock the Rock" $25,000 Sega World Champion, Nintendo World Championships 1990 Los Angeles City Champion, and Hawaii State Nintendo Champion. In 2016, Chris was invited to join the U.S. National Video Game Team - promoting positive advocacy and competition in gaming - and in 2017, he was inducted into the International Video Game Hall Of Fame in Ottumwa, Iowa. Chris is passionate about the study and preservation of game history, and is featured in films such as "Ecstasy of Order: The Tetris Masters" and "Gamer Age". As consultant and eSports commentator for the Classic Tetris World Championships ongoing since 2010, Chris is the voice of the "BOOM! Tetris for Jeff!" meme which is approaching 10 million views.
