Takashi Tezuka, Executive Officer, Entertainment Planning & Development Department, Nintendo Co., Ltd.
Tezuka joined Nintendo Co., Ltd. as a designer in 1984 and worked on the graphic design for titles including the inaugural games in the Super Mario and Legend of Zelda series. Later, he became involved in the game design for other titles from these two series. Currently, as a producer, he has primarily been involved in the development of side-scrolling action games from the Yoshi franchise and the Super Mario series.
He was appointed to his current position as Executive Officer and Producer (Senior Software Officer) of the Entertainment Planning & Development Division in 2020.
