Natashia Tjandra, Research Director, Player and Employee Experience , Electronic Arts
Natashia is a Research Director at Electronic Arts. A proven inclusive design leader who humanizes technology and the workplace, she currently leads the research vertical in the Technology organization at EA, focusing on Player and Employee Experiences. She brings 11+ years of experience in Product Design, Product Strategy, workshop facilitation, and Inclusive Research to any organization. She has led large Inclusive Product-focused teams that bring new thinking and Product Development practices to companies. Natashia is also a proven speaker on Inclusion, Design, and career topics. During her tenure at McKinsey & Company, Natashia created Design Thinking @ Scale game (https://www.loom.com/share/90266f1c04f94cc6b048835917c03493) for clients to learn Design Thinking in workshops. The game has been played at workshops hosted by The New York Times, and Fortune 500 companies, resulting in an average of 75% of workshop attendees requesting pitch submissions from the firm. She has also led multiple workshops in Design Thinking, Agile methodologies, co-creation, visioning, and lateral thinking with attendees ranging from 30 to 200+. A champion for the underrepresented, Natashia volunteers her time as a mentor, creates programs to empower and support women, and leads a team of volunteers who organize global events focusing on Career Growth for the underrepresented at EA, the product development communities and women design leaders at AIGA San Francisco. She is also occupied with writing a book, Revolution as a Habit: Using Inclusive Research Every Day, with a fierce champion for the underrepresented and Inclusive research leader, Faith McGee.
