Romain Trachel (PhD) is a Principal Machine Learning Specialist working at Eidos Sherbrooke, a sister studio of Eidos Montreal dedicated to video game innovation. Romain joined the Eidos family in 2018 to work on various projects related to machine learning and user research. Previously, he worked in a startup company which developed a wristband for emotion detection in esports players. In 2014, he received his PhD on brain-computer interfaces from Universite Cote d’Azur (Nice/Sophia-Antipolis, France). He is an expert in machine learning, signal/image processing, and cognitive neuroscience.
