Jim VanAllen, Technical Artist , Epic Games
Jim has been working with Chaos Physics in Unreal Engine for the last six years with an emphasis on destruction. Prior to Epic, Jim worked at Industrial Light & Magic, creating destruction effects for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Pacific Rim, Avengers: Infinity War, and several other films. With nearly 20 years’ experience in digital destruction, Jim's goal is to help the team at Epic build the best possible physics toolset so that anyone can easily create high-quality simulations in Unreal Engine.
