New sessions are regularly added leading up to GDC, and all dates and times will be announced about 4 weeks before the event. Sessions do fill up and seating is first come, first serve, so arrive early to sessions that you would like to attend.
Born in Taipei, Taiwan, Shiek Wang immigrated to the United States when he was 8 years old. This early upbringing from the east influenced his art style and aesthetics that he eventually brought to game development. He joined Bungie in 1998 as the concept artist for Halo and has held many positions including effects artist, 3d artist, and multiple art lead roles. With nearly 28 years of game development experience, he is now one of the most veteran artist in the studio. His Halo game credits include Halo: CE, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo: ODST, and Halo Reach. His Destiny game credits includes Destiny through Destiny 2: The Final Shape. He is currently the Destiny 2 Leadership Team Art Director. Shiek has spoken and presented in many different game and tech related conferences. These include Siggraph, Taiwan Game Developers Forum, VR/AR Game Technology Summit, and Taiwan Indie Game Market Summit.
