AC Ward, Director of Anti Cheat Engineering, Electronic Arts
AC Ward is the Director of Anti-Cheat Engineering within Electronic Arts' central EA Security team. AC has been an avid gamer since his grandmother bought him a NES at the age of 3, and he's been active in the cheat scene since he walked out of a pawn shop at the age of 7 with a Game Genie. Since 2012 he's been on the side of the good guys, starting his Fair Play career with anti-cheat and anti-fraud solutions at Blizzard Entertainment. He moved to Electronic Arts in 2020 to help EA deliver on their plans for an anti-cheat solution that solved the needs of their many studios and different multiplayer titles; his team develops the EA anticheat solution that's live on 12 titles to millions of players.
