Benn is a Film & TV Executive, Games consultant, Charity Officer, award winning Producer and Global Social Impact Advisor who believes we have a special opportunity to use films, games, and media to champion people’s stories, engage players, filmmakers and audiences to be action drivers for global goals. As Strategy & Corporate Partnerships Officer of Safe in our World Benn works to mobilize organizations to get behind the mission of prioritizing mental health and committing to building safe spaces and healthier environments for people who make games. As the Executive Producer of HF Productions he oversees global film festivals across 16 countries, feature documentaries, co-founded streaming service FILMPIXS and successfully sold its global portfolio. He has produced on award winning films including the Oscar shortlisted "Women of the Gulag" and the SXSW winner “Beautiful Something Left Behind”, and impact advised for Netflix on the Oscar nominated “Don’t Look Up” and “Breaking Boundaries”.
Benn serves in a unique role within the United Nations ecosystem. He has been a consultant for UN Live - Museum for the United Nations, executive producer of the COP26 Broadcast Studio with UNFCCC, has served as a volunteer of UNEP's Playing for the Planet Alliance, co-organizes the SDGs in Action Film Festival with UN DESA, owns the license for the SONY Picture This Festival for the Planet with UN Foundation, and owns the Arctic Film Festival in Svalbard which is a UN SDG Partnership Platform SMART project.
Benn also serves on several boards as an advisor.
