Originally from Singapore, Maisie joined Riot Games in Los Angeles in 2013 as a concept artist on the Worldbuilding team. As part of Worldbuilding, she has worked on discovering and building out the visual and brand identity of the world of Runeterra over the past decade. She has also been a part of the early visual development of Valorant and has consulted on and assisted with art direction on Riot Forge projects. She's now a principal artist continuing her work in Runeterra, IP stewardship, and creative direction.
Maisie is highly passionate about pushing boundaries in IPs and worlds. She believes that unique, thorough, and well-crafted universes are alive with their own form of storytelling and have the power to deeply engage and enthrall players and developers alike with added meaning.
