Julio Zabre, CTO, Wabisabi
Julio Zabre is the CTO and co-founder of Wabisabi, a studio based in Mexico City specializing in interactive content, XR, gaming, and digital experiences. Since beginning his career as a game developer, Julio has built a diverse expertise across multiple roles in the industry. He became a pioneer in XR marketing and gaming experiences in Mexico before joining Squad, the country’s most successful game studio, as a senior developer on Kerbal Space Program. In 2018, he co-founded Wabisabi with two partners, pushing the boundaries of technology and creativity. Under his leadership, the studio has collaborated with major partners like Snap Inc., becoming a trailblazer in developing experiences for Spectacles hardware.
